Tips for getting all the Jericho Achievements

After almost achieving a perfect gamer score in this game, I have some up with some tips on how to get all the achievements.

The first thing I will say is see that chick up there? She is the ultimate player in getting over 300 points just with her. You may notice you get achievements for killing 50,100,250 people with a ghost bullet, popping 50,100,250 heads and disintegrating 50,100,250 people. This chick can do all those things. Play her as much as possible and wait for her ghost bullet to recharge. Especially against the weaker enemies, one head shot will kill them, and also manage to pop their heads at the same time. The basic units are the perfect ones to use this method on. I use her for 2/3rds of the game when I was playing through on easy to unlock all the levels again. When you have unlocked all the levels, the best ones to get the head popping and ghost bullet achievement is spirit guide, where you must snipe all the enemies in the head because you are alone. Go through until you reach Jones, and reload the chapter and do it again, you can get about 10 to 15 kills just through there. And also on the level after that, if you kill the one chick that’s in the middle, the other one in the iron maiden will keep re-spawning guys that you can kill with a Ghost Bullet.

Delgado is also a good one to use for the head pop. He has a huge machine gun arm, so if you are close the basic guys heads completely spatter.

For disintegration, you need to use Abby’s grenade launcher. This ones a little harder because sometimes its hard to aim. I find that exploding the yellow pustile guys works best. And you will find a lot of these in the Rivers of Blood, Imperium, Motly Crew. Play these through a few times and aim right and you should have it in no time!

Playing the game through on Hard will get you a lot of achievements, including the ones for beating levels on normal and easy, but pay attention to which levels you need to complete on hard without dying. I know that sounds hard, but as long as the person you are playing at the time doesn’t die then you will get the achievement. I finally completed those levels this morning, but I wish I had taken the time to do it when I was playing in through. Here’s a great tip. Try using Black or Delgado. And when you reach the first checkpoint in any of the levels where you can’t die (because if you do you wont get the achievement), when you reach the first checkpoint, and you happen to die afterward, you can just reload to the last checkpoint and it will count toward beating the level. Be careful about switching characters though, because that doesn’t always work.

The last of the Achievements is 50,100,250 Melee kills, and I am finding that it is the hardest one to get. Mainly because Black cant melee. However Church has a bloodward and sword so use her as much as possible. My suggestion would be to play through the game again, on easy but to melee as much as possible. And then when you find a good spot that works for you, keep playing it over and over again. And you should get them in no time.
